Jumpeye Components team has made it once again, after flash component masterpieces like TextEff and FlashEff that made Flash designer’s life easier, here they come once again with FlashEff 2.
For those few people out there that do not know what JumpEye Components FlashEff is, we can briefly say that is a Flash component that directly installs into Flash, both cs3 and cs4 are supported in this version.
Once installed through Adobe Extension Manager you will find it under Window / Other Panels / FlashEff2 Panel in Flash and you can dock the Panel where you prefer to easily access it.
The first time you lauch it you will need to login with you account and an internet connection is needed to authenticate.

FlashEff2 will also add some components to the component library:

To use FlashEff2 you will have to create a movieclip and drag one of FlashEff2 component over it choosing among:
- FlashEff2
- FlashEff2Button
- FlashEff2Code
- FlashEff2Filter
- FlashEff2ShowHide
- FlashEff2ShowHideMC
Do not worry if you feel lost, with the FlashEff2 package you also get full documentation and tutorials, together with a quick guide to get started in a few minutes.
Once loaded the FlashEff2 Component on a movieclip you will be able to control and apply over 100 effect patterns each of them to show or hide the movie clip, each of them fully customizable in their parameters and tweening, to exactly achieve the kind of effect you are looking for, tweaking almost every detail.

You can both apply graphic and text effects, together with filters and the famous button mode.
But what’s new in this version 2.0 ?
I can personally say that I had a great feeling from the new UI, it’s much more fast and neat and the live preview feature is great, together with the thumbnail preview that makes it faster to choose the right effect you are looking for.
The new button mode is simply fantastic and will definitely become your only way to make buttons in flash.

The collaboration of Jumpeye team with TweenLite made possible to improve tweening performace and make fluid and perfect FlashEff2 animations.
To summarize what you can do with FlashEff2 we can say that you can easily show and hide images, movie clips and text in seconds, all kind of animations that are useful for intros, banners and headers.
You can create animated and interactive buttons starting from a single visual element without writing almost any line of code.
Add static or animated filters to any object.
Combine the patterns to create complex animated objects.
FlashEff2 comes in a free version including over 100 effect presets or in three different commercial versions called : Premium, Tweak and Premium Plus.
The main differences are in the possibility to Tweak effects and Save custom presets and those are in my opinion options that are fully worth the price difference.
Anyway even the Premium version comes with more than 3000 effect presets and it will take time before you will reach its limits and need to upgrade.

FlashEff2 makes our life easier as we deal with lots of transition effects everyday. It simplifies the process by avoiding manual coding of some actionscript codes which could get really complicated in some great visual effects.
