FTP is the standard for file transfer to your web design content to servers over the web as we all know well, Flow is a simple and powerful FTP client and much more.
Flow by Extendmac is as already said basicaly an FTP client that also supports many protocols that allow it to connect also to SFTP, Amazon S3, WebDAV and MobileMe iDisk servers.

What you will notice immediatelly when launching Flow for the first time will be the gorgeous work done by Olivier Charavel on toolbar icons,Sebastiaan de With on the dock icon and Brian Amerige on the UI and graphical details that make Flow simply one of the mac apps with the best design around.

A simple but complete connect screen will let you enter all server details and a shaking animation will move all the window to let you know that you entered a wrong information.

Flow has all functionalities you would expect from an FTP client together with some extra features like the possibility to edit files directly with the built in editor or with a choosen editor, Flow is also aware of URL and because of this you can directly open a remote file into the browser or copy the address to the clipboard.

Flow is designed for Mac OSX Leopard and fully takes advantage of Quicklook preview functionality to view files content before opening them. Another cool feature are droplets, that are special icons on which you can drag a file to start uploading it automatically without doing anything else.

Flow is an app with a great attitude and a the specific goal to make you enjoy the file transfer over the net instead of losing time with complex FTP clients.
